Sew a Skull Cap

A skull cap, surgical cap, a Doo-Rag, motorcycle cap ... no matter what you call it, this pattern can be used for each option, with a little tweaking of course.

Medical personnel wear scrub caps to secure their hair in medical facilities, motorcycle riders and some football players use it to help their helmets have a better fit.  If helmets are used by another person, such as in high school, a skull cap - or tweaked version of the pattern- is an excellent item to make for sanitary precautions. Whatever the reason, these skull caps, made of cotton material, can be washed and reused over and over again, to ensure cleanliness, as well as longevity.

I used a pattern from Simplifi to create this cap a while ago.  It has worked well.  I was able to adjust sizing and tabs for different needs.  You will be able to as well.  Take a look at my video, Sew a Skull Cap, and follow along.  I walk you through the process of making it and show you how you can make slight changes to it to suit your needs.
