The Small, Yet Mighty,
Coin Purse
Oh, do I love a quick project that I can pump out! Yes, of course!
This is probably one of my favorite coin purses to sew! It is great for carrying the bare essentials, eliminating the large handbag. It's quick and easy to put together with only small amounts of fabric! Grab the drawing from below to use your pattern. Yes, a drawing! I said I wasn't a professional and I don't make patterns! : ) Cut your fabrics and get to sewing this!
You will need the following:
(2) Outer fabrics
(2) Lining fabrics
(2) interface - fusible, or sew-in, fleece
(1) 5" zipper
(2) zipper tabs - 1.5 X 3
(1) strap fabric - 3"X12"
(1) tab for D/O Ring - Scrap 1 1/2" X 2"
(1) D Ring OR O-Ring
(1) Lobster Clasp
Watch my video to sew it if you need to!
Enjoy the Pattern!
Happy Sewing!

Thank you for this pattern Nikki-I like the hand sketch 😊. It can be adjusted too
ReplyDeleteNikki - I really enjoyed your video! I do buy fat quarters from $Tree and have found that most of the fabric is really quite sturdy. In fact, last year I made my $Tree quilt and smile every time it's used and thrilled that it still washes up beautifully! Since Joann's is quickly going out of business, we sewers need to find worthwhile fabric outlets ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your coin purse pattern and look forward to seeing more of your videos.
